Customer Reviews drive Internet sales

Customer reviews have always been one of the key factors that drive the online sales. A Study conducted by E-consultancy & Bazaar voice reveals that the retailers have experienced a sharp increase in conversion rates, website traffic and average order value by using the customer reviews effectively.

Some highlights of the Report:

1. More than 28% of online retailers have already started using customer “Ratings & Reviews” for their benefit.

2. More than 50% of the online retailers are planning to consider “Reviews & Rating” seriously in near future for development.

3. More than half of the online retailers consider the “Reviews & Ratings” will assist them to plan their company’s strategy over next year.

4. 8 out of 10 feels that “Ratings & Reviews” have largely benefited them in improving their conversion rates.

5. 73% of them think “Ratings & Reviews” have actually improved their site loyalty and resulted in the increase of customer retention.

6. 6 out of 10 online retailers say that “Rating & & Reviews” have increasingly assisted them in area of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

7. “Ratings & reviews” are widely visited by online shoppers with regard to complex & highly competitive categories like – Automotive (19%) & consumer electronics (17%).

8. To get product information, 43% of Consumers use search engines and 29% of Consumers visits company sites, regardless of product category.
